About Colin Sturrock

I’m Colin, a Chartered Member of the CIPD and the founder of Seton HR Solutions based in Selkirk in the heart of the Scottish Borders. I bring senior HR, operational leadership and people strategy experience from across public, private and not‑for‑profit sectors, all grounded in a practical, pragmatic and human approach to supporting organisations through their most important asset, their people.

I offer clear and dependable HR advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle from policies and performance to change management and complex casework. My aim is always the same: to give you the clarity, reassurance and expertise you need to move forward.

My work also centres on helping organisations navigate conflict with confidence. Whether it’s a workplace dispute, a breakdown in communication, or a situation that needs an impartial, experienced and qualified mediator, I provide structured, fair and solution‑focused support. I believe that when handled well, conflict can strengthen relationships, rebuild trust and create healthier, more accountable workplace cultures.
